The Way of Saint Martin Pilgrimage

Following the success of their first pilgrimage and a pilgrimage seminar the germ of an idea to create a new pilgrimage route and exhibition began to develop. Liz Garnett and Alex le Rossignol came away from a meeting at the Maison Dieu in Dover with a plan to focus on a new pilgrimage route - that of the one from Dover to Canterbury. The aim was to have enough work for an exhibition as part of the Dover Pilgrimage Festival in 2022.

This time the project will be to develop a new route taking in the North Downs Way / Via Francigena and add in detours to destinations that inspired artists and writers.

Participating creatives will cover the fields of art, photography, sculpture, mixed media, poetry and sound.
